+ Do I need to book online to attend a class?
Since we cap class sizes to ensure coaching quality, we require that everyone books in for a class before attending. If you are unable to make it to a class, please make sure to remove your spot so that someone else can take it.
+ What should I bring?
Your body and an open mind, the two most important things!
We highly encourage our members to bring a notebook to classes (which you can leave at the studio), since our classes are quite informative. It's good to write down your goals, progress and personal modifications that we make for you.
We have cube storage where you can keep your keys and phone while training. Make sure to bring your water bottle, which you can fill up with our filtered water dispenser. If you tend to sweat a lot, bring a sweat towel, though the studio has fans and is air-conditioned.
+ Which class should I start with?
If you're not sure, contact us to let us know your experience level so that we can guide you in the right direction.
We usually recommend our Progressive Movement and Bamboo Mobility classes to develop a base level of strength and flexibility.
+ Where can I park?
In the Cairns CBD, there is both free and 'pay and display' parking on Grafton St.
The pay and display parking is between 8.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am to 2pm on Saturdays. Parking outside these times, on public holidays and in centre median bays is always free.
+ How do the memberships work?
We have a variety of memberships to choose from, depending on your goals and needs.
Our Tribe (unlimited classes) and Casual Tribe (3x classes per week) memberships are auto-billed weekly.
These are our main 2 memberships that also offer freebies, bonuses and discounts, and a majority of our members are on these.
We also have addons for our memberships if you wish to have your own customised program, or would like personal training sessions.
For those who can't commit to regular classes, we also have the more casual option of a 10 Class Pass with a 3 month expiry.

+ When will I be billed?
Our memberships are billed every week, commencing on the purchase date. Eg, if you purchased on a Thursday, you will be billed every Thursday.
+ When will my membership begin?
Your membership will commence immediately.
The 3 month expiry of the 10 Class Pass will start from the first session attended.
+ Can I change to a higher or lower membership level?
Yes. If you wish to change your membership level, simply send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
+ Can I pay for a membership upfront?
Please contact us if you wish to purchase a membership upfront. We offer 3 and 6 month memberships at a discounted rate.
+ Is there a lock in contract?
Nope. There is no minimum commitment and you can cancel anytime by giving us 7 days notice via our Membership Cancellation page on our website.
If you don't love being a part of our community we don't want to lock you into any annoying kind of agreement.
+ Can I suspend or cancel my membership?
Yes - all that we require is a 7 day notice for membership suspensions or cancellations. If you need to suspend or cancel your membership, you can submit a form via our Membership Suspension or Membership Cancellation pages.
+ What happens if my payment fails, such as due to insufficient funds?
Because we get charged by Ezidebit for failed payments, we charge a small $5 dishonour fee, which is applied to your next payment.
The system will try automatically try again the following morning, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to sort out payment arrangements.
+ Are there any cancellation fees?
Nope. We don't like gyms with lots of annoying fees and lock-in contracts!
+ Are there any other fees?
Nope. Apart from the dishonour fee (mentioned above), we wear all the billing and debit fees. The advertised price is all that you pay.
+ How big are your classes?
To ensure detailed coaching quality, we limit our strength classes at 15 spots, our flexibility classes at 15 spots and our handstand classes at 12 spots. We utilise the Mindbody booking system for classes to ensure that we don't go over this amount.
+ I'm running late, can I still attend class?
Please arrive between 5-10 minutes before your class begins, so that you can begin your warm up. The classes start right on time, and entry will not be permitted once the class has warmed up. Due to the safety of our clients and yourself, you will not be allowed to join a class once the warm up is complete.
+ I'm not strong/flexible/fit enough, will I be able to keep up?
Yes! Our classes meet all levels of ability, no matter where you are currently at. You don't need any prior experience to participate in our classes - only a will to learn.
The scalability of our classes allows us to have both complete beginners and experienced members working together.
The only way to begin your journey is to bite the bullet and get started!
+ Am I too old for these classes?
Nonsense! We believe that it's never too late to start your journey to moving and feeling better, and we scale movements to suit your level and ability.
Some of our members are 50-70 years of age, and have completely changed their health and quality of life from attending our classes.
+ Am I too young for these classes?
Members are required to be over the age of 13 years to participate in our adult classes. If you are under the age of 18 you also need an adult or guardian to sign the waiver for you.
+ As a female, will resistance training make me big and bulky?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions and the easiest one to answer… No, you won’t get big and bulky.
Women do not have the amount of muscle-building hormones that men have (around 10 times less than men), which makes you much less likely to gain huge amounts of muscle.
+ I'm pregnant, can I still train?
We recommend you consult with your GP as everyone is different. You will usually still be allowed to continue your current training schedule however, some modifications will occur throughout your pregnancy stages.
We wouldn’t recommend a pregnant woman to start training with us, only those who already have been training to continue. Please email at email@example.com to let us know you’re pregnant as soon as possible.
+ I'm injured, can I still train?
Depending on your injury, we recommend that you still come to class if you have an injury, since we can modify movements to work around most injuries.
Movement is the best medicine for repairing soft tissue injuries, and we can help you on your road to recovery through rehab/prehab work.
We also will happily work alongside any physical therapist, since we have knowledge and expertise in this area.
+ Why is your pricing more expensive than a regular gym?
First impressions may be that we cost more than a membership to your local big-chain gym.
However, instead of walking into another 24/7 gym by yourself and training alone with your headphones on, we provide a group atmosphere where you will have a professional to work with you through every step of the way.
You get one-on-one feedback, very detailed instruction and an individualised approach in each and every class.
Each session is programmed by a highly experienced professional – all you have to do is show up and do the work!
